Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and the performance of the village head on the level of community satisfaction in Mattampawalie Village, Bone Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents from the local community. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to determine the extent of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable.

The results indicate that a participatory leadership style and effective performance of the village head have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction. However, the level of influence is relatively low. This is reflected in the coefficient of determination, which shows that the leadership style variable explains only a small portion of the variation in community satisfaction. The majority of the variation is influenced by other factors, such as service quality, village facilities, budget transparency, and community participation.
