Abstract

This research aims: (1) To find out the role of the Pucak Village Head in increasing employee work motivation at the Pucak Village Office, (2) To find out whether employee work motivation has increased at the Pucak Village Office, as well as the efforts made by the Village Head to increase employee work motivation at the Pucak Village Office. Tompobulu District, Maros Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation of research informants. Data analysis used interactive analysis with stages; data collection, word reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that (a) responsibility has an obligation to take certain actions and be accountable for the results of decisions. (b) managing human resources, all employees are motivated to take part in performance and job training. (c) providing strong motivation or encouragement that can encourage employees to work better. Factors that influence work motivation at the Pucak Village Office, namely work discipline, social security and work climate, have been implemented well, while the facilities and infrastructure have not been implemented well.
