Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research aims to determine employee performance in public services at the Data Village Office, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency with factors inhibiting performance. This research uses qualitative methods, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation with 9 informants, 5 sub-district office employees and 4 community members. The data analysis technique used interactive theory through stages; data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that employee performance in public services at the Data Village Office, Duampanua District, Pinrang Regency, seen from the indicators: Work Quantity, Work Effectiveness and Independence, is quite good, but what is still not good is Quality of work and Punctuality, where the quality of work is not yet good because There is still service discrimination and sometimes the service is not on time, so that is what must be changed to improve employee performance in public services. Meanwhile, the factors inhibiting performance consist of work motivation, facilities and infrastructure, and good leadership, except for employee expertise and skills which still need to be improved.
