Abstract

The Application of Business Ethics in Management Decision-Making at the Talaga Raya Cash Office of the Regional Development Bank (BPD), Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.

This study aims to: (1) Determine how business ethics are applied in management decision-making at the Talaga Raya Cash Office of the Regional Development Bank, Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. (2) Identify the factors supporting the application of business ethics in management decision-making at the Talaga Raya Cash Office of the Regional Development Bank, Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. (3) Identify the factors hindering the application of business ethics in management decision-making at the Talaga Raya Cash Office of the Regional Development Bank, Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.

This research employs a qualitative descriptive method involving a literature study and data analysis based on findings obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The study focuses on the application of business ethics within management decision-making processes.

The results indicate that (1) management decision-making at the Talaga Raya Cash Office is based on specific procedures or guidelines regarding business ethics values, and these values ​​are applied in the execution of duties and roles. The Talaga Raya Cash Office implements ethics concerning the responsibilities of the board of directors and principles of good corporate governance, including honesty, fairness, social responsibility, and integrity. (2) Supporting factors include service quality and cooperation. (3) Hindering factors include language barriers and illiteracy
